    A leading venture capital firm is seeking a Senior Fund Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller to join its finance team in Menlo Park. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of Silicon Valley’s top VC firms, managing over $7B in assets across 1,200+ investments and 130+ exits. The firm is currently raising its next multi-billion-dollar fund and is known for backing transformational companies.

    Responsibilities:

    + Maintain fund and GP general ledgers, including accruals, intercompany payables/receivables, and investment activity

    + Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements

    + Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely, accurate filings

    + Oversee fund cash positions; manage and record capital calls and distributions

    + Review reporting packages prepared by fund administrators, including LP statements, financials, and capital activity

    + Partner with Investor Relations to handle limited partner inquiries

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + 9+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a foundation in public accounting and 4–6+ years in venture capital, private equity, or related investment firms

    + Strong knowledge of investment partnership accounting

    + Advanced Excel skills; experience with AltaReturn/Allvue or Microsoft NAV is a plus

    + Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
