    Description

    Robert Half's marketing & creative client is looking for a Web Accessibility Specialist for a 2-month contract in the Greater Boston area. This is a remote, 40-hour-per-week opportunity; candidates must be willing to work eastern (ET) hours. The Web Accessibility Specialist will be assisting in a large website overhaul and will play a key role in advancing digital inclusivity and compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform accessibility audits, including manual testing of websites and pages

    + Resolve accessibility issues

    + Ensure WCAG compliance and implement ARIA best practices

    + Collaborate with web teams and other stakeholders

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Degree in communication, technology, or related

    + 2+ years of web accessibility experience

    + HTML/CSS skills

    + Familiarity with content updates

    + Experience using screen readers and assistive technologies tools (SiteImprove, WAVE, etc.)

    + Familiarity with ARIA best practices

    + Self-starter

    + Detail-oriented

    + Excellent communication and project management skills

    + IAPP certification a plus
