    Toolmaker Senior

    Responsibilities:

    + Produce tooling, injection molds, injection mold components and dies from raw materials per print specifications.

    + Troubleshoot injection molds to improve performance.

    + Understand and use CNC lathes, CNC mills (including 5 axis), Sinker and Wire EDMs, drill presses, surface grinders, cut off and band saws and all equipment available to them.

    + Have inspection knowledge to properly inspect parts.

    + Occasionally attend education seminars on new and existing tool making processes.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S).

    + Comply with all applicable occupational Environmental, Health, and Safety standards, as well as Crown's safety rules and regulations for each task performed.

    + Perform other related duties as required.

    Qualifications:

    + This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent

    + Must be able to read blueprints, understand mathematical functions including trigonometry that pertain to the job, and have inspection knowledge of how to properly inspect parts.

    + CAM software experience preferred.

    + Prior tool / mold making experience preferred.
