    Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

    The Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff members in the performance of their duties and assisting the PESS Director and Assistant Director in the administration of a 24 hour operation,

    Job Overview:

    The Supervisor is responsible for supervising staff members in the performance of their duties and assisting the PESS Director and Assistant Director in the administration of a 24 hour operation.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + Master s degree in social work, psychology, or related clinical field required

    + Certified New Jersey Mental Health Screener or immediately eligible with six months of hire required

    + Three years experience in a mental health setting, preferably in crisis intervention/emergency services; and two years supervisory experience in a crisis setting.

    Essential Functions:

    + Assists staff n case management functions when appropriate.

    + Brings all unusual situations, incidents, or difficulties encountered in the provision of emergency services to the attention of the Director of Emergency Services or his/her designate.

    + Coordinates with the Assistant Director, staff schedules in order to provide 24 hour coverage, seven days per week.

    + Provides supervision and reviews client charts for accuracy and completeness and brings any discrepancies to the attention of the department management.

    + Supervises and develops the implementation of treatment plans for clients based upon the team assessment.

    + Supervises mobile practicum for designated screening centers.

    + Supervises the triage of in-coming clients and assigns cases to staff members as appropriate.
