Job Summary: Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking an experienced caregiver to provide compassionate and quality care to our senior clients in Cypress, TX. This is a full-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical field, requiring an individual contributor role. The caregiver will be responsible for assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with seniors and be dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients. Compensation & Benefits: The caregiver will receive a competitive hourly wage of $12 to $13.50 per hour. In addition, they will have access to benefits such as paid time off and ongoing training and development opportunities. Responsibilities: - Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities to seniors according to their care plan - Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of assistive devices - Remind clients to take medication, and ensure proper administration if needed - Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervisor - Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and clean-up - Help with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up - Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with the clients - Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care provided - Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols - Communicate effectively with the clients, their families, and the care team Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 1 year of experience working with seniors in a professional setting - Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - CPR/First Aid certification preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate, responsible, and reliable - Ability to work independently and follow care plans - Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks as needed EEOC Statement: Always Best Care Senior Services is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
