• CNC Programmer

    Adecco is partnering with a well-established, family-owned precision manufacturing company in Billerica, MA to hire a **CNC Mill - Lathe Machinist/Programmer** . This is a Direct-Hire opportunity.

     

    **Schedule:** Monday – Thursday (4-day workweek!)

    **Pay:** $28 – $40/hour _depending on experience_

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Program, set up, and operate CNC machine tools, including multi-axis lathes.

    + Independently take metal from raw stock to finished part.

    + Interpret and work from customer drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

    + Determine appropriate speeds, feeds, tooling, and machining sequences.

    + Make necessary adjustments and trial cuts to achieve required tolerances.

    + Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and CMMs.

    + Apply trigonometric formulas and shop math to layout and inspection tasks.

    + Operate and program with Fusion360 (preferred) or Mastercam (acceptable).

    + Perform general machining and finishing operations as needed.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    + Minimum of 5 years’ CNC machining and programming experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate).

    + Strong attention to detail and familiarity with modern machining practices and tooling.

    + Solid work ethic and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.

    + Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
