The salary range for this role is: $17.00-$19.00 a hour

Tips: average +$2-$3 per hour

Full time: 32-40 hours a week *weekend availability is a must.

Note: This role would be 30% driving & 70% dishwashing/food prep

The delivery driver is responsible for the transport of our baked goods and other food/supply items. They will be driving between multiple SusieCakes bakeries, our commissary kitchen, and any guest locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Operations Management: Manage the delivery calendar activities daily, daily bakery requisitions checklist and adhering to the culinary schedule

+ Ensure all food is handled and stored according to all required food safety code standards

+ Assist with kitchen food prep & production of baked goods as needed

+ Ensure delivery cruiser maintenance & service matters are managed

+ Manage expenses for delivery cruiser (i.e., gasoline, tolls, repairs)

+ Ensure the delivery cruiser is driven in a professional manner consistent with local vehicle laws

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Valid driver-s license required

+ Excellent driving record required

+ Knowledgeable of GPS navigation systems

+ Outstanding customer service focus and skills

+ High degree of professionalism

+ Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

+ Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead

+ Able to sit for extended periods of time

+ Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds

EDUCATION:

+ High school diploma or GED

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

+ Must be able to speak, read, and write English

OTHER:

+ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
