    Job Title: HSE Analyst Level IV

     

    Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

     

    Pay Rate: $50/hour

    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Analyst to support the Health, Safety, and Environmental functions at our facility. The ideal candidate will bring 5–7 years of hands-on experience in risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and HSE systems. This role is essential to driving safe operations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across environmental and safety programs.

    Responsibilities

    + Support implementation and maintenance of the site’s HSE Management System (HSEMS)

    + Monitor daily HSE operations including waste management, air and water quality, stormwater control, and pollution prevention

    + Conduct site inspections, sample wastewater discharges, and maintain compliance documentation

    + Assist in managing and updating HSE documentation, SharePoint site, Teams page, and team calendar

    + Assign required training in Cummins Learning Center based on site safety training matrix

    + Track and report training, audit results, corrective actions, and key HSE metrics

    + Perform data analysis and develop HSE performance reports and presentations

    + Maintain and distribute safety alerts and internal scorecards

    + Support HSE sites with metric reporting and Power BI dashboards

    + Assist with annual HSE budgeting and create purchase orders

    + Coordinate logistics for HSE workshops, meetings, and related activities

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related technical field (required)

    + 5–7 years of relevant HSE experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting

    + Proficiency with HSE systems, databases, spreadsheets, and data reporting tools

    + Strong knowledge of safety topics such as:

    + Machine guarding

    + Lockout/Tagout (LOTTO) procedures

    + Ergonomics

    + Confined space safety

    + STF (Slips, Trips, Falls)

    + Hoist and crane operations

    Core Competencies

    + Risk assessment and hazard mitigation

    + Regulatory compliance and environmental management

    + Incident investigation and root cause analysis

    + HSE performance measurement and KPI tracking

    + Excellent communication and planning skills

    + Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
