The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, is seeking a Service Drive Coordinator for our prestigious BMW dealership. Rallye is searching for someone who will be dependable and responsible for all coordinating guest intake functions within the service department. This position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment by ensuring that greeting customers promptly, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate service team associate, and assisting with preliminary service intake procedures. Your role is the point position as the “face of Rallye” to our customers. We are looking for an individual, perhaps from the hospitality sector, with strong interpersonal skills, who is able to lead our Service drive team create a world class guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Management:
+ Ensure all customers are greeted promptly and professionally as they arrive.
+ Direct customer to the appropriate Service team member or waiting area.
+ Ensure customer and vehicle information are accurate for service intake.
+ Ensure, by direction, that service intake processes are functioning as designed.
+ Maintain, by direction, the cleanliness and organization of the service drive area.
+ Answer basic customer inquiries or direct them to the appropriate personnel.
+ Communicate with Service Advisors and Geniuses to ensure timely customer service.
+ Responsible for an efficient and timely service drive cadence.
+ Follow all dealership policies and safety procedures.
Pay Range: $30 - $35 Per Hour
Requirements
+ Clean and valid driver's license required.
+ Supervisory skills and a strong leadership disposition required.
+ 2 years of previous customer service experience required; automotive and/or hospitality experience preferred.
+ Must be friendly, outgoing, and have a professional demeanor at all times.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
+ Basic computer skills a must. Familiarity with dealership software systems preferred.
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
+ Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors through varying weather conditions, year round.
+ May be required to lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
