    A DAY IN THE LIFE:

     

    As a Cashier, you are responsible for taking guests orders and serving food in a professional and timely manner in order to ensure that guests of the company have an enjoyable and satisfying dining experience. Your objectives and expectations include:

     

    + Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner

    + Answering the phone and taking to go orders

    + Read, understand, and memorize the menu

    + Learn the ingredients in the food

    + Be informed and recite the daily special

    + Take guest orders and enter into the computer

    + Organize all to go orders for efficient and timely pick up

    + Accurately handle all cash and credit card transactions

    + Follow all steps of service, including department checklists for opening and closing duties

    + Maintain cleanliness and restaurant appearance standards; including, but not limited to

     

    bussing tables when necessary, wipe down menu's, wipe down tables, set up / break down

    tables, fold napkins, rearrange dining area when needed

    + Follow and uphold all company policies per employment handbook

     

    Compensation: $16.04/hr + tips
