    Weekly Pay: $1575

     
     
     
     

    + 2 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Classrooms - ASD Endorsement required

    + 1 Emotional Impairment (EI) Classroom

    Position Overview

    Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher provides high-quality services to students in grades K–12. This role involves collaboration with general education staff to plan and implement individualized programs, including specialized instruction, tutorial support, and consultation.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Valid Michigan teaching certificate as required by state and district regulations

    + Minimum of one year of teaching experience (preferred)

    + Certification Types (preferred):

    + Standard Elementary Teaching

    + Standard Secondary Teaching

    + Standard Special Teaching

    + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1)

    + Current CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (as required by contract or state)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    + Candidates must be licensed and have ASD Endorsement
