Travel Oncology RN – Rapid Assessment | Palo Alto, CA

Start Date: Late July/Early August 2025 | 13-Week Contract

We are seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a travel assignment in Palo Alto, California , supporting the Oncology Rapid Assessment Center (ORAC) within the Admin Cancer Center. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong triage skills and a background in both inpatient and outpatient oncology care.

Position Highlights:

+ Location: Palo Alto, CA

+ Start Window: July–August 2025

+ Unit: Admin Cancer Center – ITA (ORAC)

+ Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension

+ Schedule: 4x10s (40 hours/week)

+ Shift: Day shift

+ EMR: EPIC

Required Qualifications:

+ Active CA RN License

+ Minimum 3 years of Oncology RN experience

+ ONS certification required

+ Strong triage experience , especially in rapid assessment settings

+ BLS and ACLS – American Heart Association

+ EPIC experience

+ Previous travel RN experience preferred

+ BSN or higher preferred

This role involves assessing and managing oncology patients in a fast-paced triage environment, collaborating with providers to determine appropriate care pathways, and supporting both urgent and routine oncology needs.
