CTG is seeking to fill a Developer Analyst opening for our client in Austin, TX.
**Location:** Austin, TX
Duties:
+ Design, develop, and administer the agency’s Drupal website and WordPress blogs
+ Plan, develop, and maintain web and browser applications to support library programs and operations
+ Train team members in Drupal development and website management best practices
+ Participate in cross-agency workgroups implementing standard web page templates and enterprise web applications
+ Create and maintain technical and security documentation
+ Provide user training and support for in-house web applications
+ Submit weekly progress reports and maintain updated system/network documentation
+ Support timely resolution of incidents and requests, including after-hours maintenance when necessary
+ Attend work regularly in accordance with agency leave and attendance policies
+ Comply with all applicable agency policies and procedures
Skills:
+ Strong proficiency in PHP, Linux OS, and command-line interface
+ Extensive knowledge of Drupal and WordPress administration and development
+ Expertise in developing web applications using frameworks such as Laravel, Django, and Symfony
+ Skilled in database design with MySQL, front-end development using HTML/CSS, jQuery, and AJAX
+ Familiar with JavaScript, Ruby, Java, and Python
+ Understanding of cybersecurity issues such as cross-site scripting and SQL injection
+ Knowledge of Drupal Search, Solr, and other information retrieval tools
+ Experience using ticketing systems such as Remedy or KACE
+ Ability to follow system development methodologies and documentation standards
Experience:
+ 8+ years of experience with PHP in LAMP/LEMP stack
+ 8+ years of CMS-based enterprise website development and management
+ 8+ years of experience with Drupal and WordPress site administration
+ 8+ years of experience developing within modern web frameworks
+ Experience in Python programming preferred
+ Experience with Drush, building responsive sites, and asynchronous web apps preferred
+ Familiarity with industry-standard programming and development certifications preferred
Education:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
