FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. Job Summary:
The Outbound Sales Specialist supports our sales pipeline by identifying and qualifying prospective customers through outbound calling, email campaigns, and CRM follow-up. This individual plays a critical role in the early stages of the sales process by initiating meaningful conversations and generating interest in our products and solutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Outbound Calling Campaigns
+ Conduct outbound calls and emails to warm and cold leads, initiating sales conversations, inclusive of all current and future Fecon product lines.
+ Identify and qualify potential customers based on collected information.
+ Collaborate with RM/Dealer to track lead progress.
+ Maintain detailed records of interactions and lead status in CRM.
+ Test call scripts and outreach sequences, logging versions in CRM and measuring success rates.
New Dealer Targeting
+ Work with RMs and ISRs to identify geographic areas with gaps in dealer coverage.
+ Research and identify key decision-makers at prospective dealerships.
+ Nurture leads through ongoing communication and schedule appointments for the sales team.
Marketing/Sales Promotions & Campaigns
+ Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams by syncing CRM insights with campaign data to align messaging.
+ Provide regular feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness
CRM Activity Tracking
+ Log each call (automatically or manually), including date, time, and outcome (e.g., no answer, voicemail, live connect).
+ Use standardized call dispositions (e.g., “Interested – Send Info,” “Not Interested,” “Callback Requested”) to categorize outcomes.
+ Monitor call volume by rep, campaign, or region to assess outreach consistency.
+ Leverage CRM insights to refine targeting criteria based on high-performing segments.
Product Knowledge and Training
+ Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and competitive positioning.
+ Participate in ongoing training sessions and team knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Reporting & KPIs
+ Meet and exceed weekly activity goals, including number of calls, emails sent, and meetings scheduled.
+ Support reporting needs by maintaining accurate and timely data entry in the CRM.
Required Skills/Abilities:
+ 2+ years of experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or lead generation (B2B preferred).
+ Proven ability to generate qualified leads and set appointments.
+ Ability to speak and listen to enable effective communication.
+ CRM experience required
+ Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
+ Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
+ Work independently and be self-motivated
+ Work well as part of and support a team
+ Computer skills include MS Suite
+ Ability to multi-task
Education and Experience:
+ High school diploma or equivalent is required
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications is preferred
+ Experience in sales and/or customer service is preferred
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to talk and hear to enable effective communication
+ Comfortable operating and functioning in a safe manner around heavy equipment
+ Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
+ Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, work at desk
