ABOUT THE ROLE
Supports management accounting and financial operations and monitors of Shared Financial Services assigned product line(s) and entities by performing complex accounting services related to preparing, analyzing, maintaining and reviewing various financial statements and financial plans, flash forecasts and month ending reports. Works closely with corporate, cost, treasury and shared financial services management to develop, implement and coordinate accounting policies and practices to improved consistency and efficiency in accounting.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
+ Provides accurate and timely reporting of actual performance versus forecast and budget to management team. Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports, presenting findings, analyses and recommendations. Performs special projects and analysis as directed. Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data
+ Performs the month end general accounting close for supported entities. Prepares complex journal entries. Includes review of account reconciliations for all appropriate balance sheet accounts.
+ Determines and improves financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results including payroll, journal transfers, cash received sheets and various recharges.
+ Review and analyze regional financial results and identify areas for improvement. Assist in all Financial Planning activities with respect to monthly 18-month rolling forecast and Mid-Term plan.
+ Analyze financial plan data to identify potential risks/opportunities and present findings along with proposed actions to senior management for review and decision making.
+ Assist in the development of risk maps and functional plans. Assist in the preparation of monthly reports to regional management
+ Analyze complex financial scenarios to provide detailed insight into business drivers and potential value creation opportunities; this may require gathering and interpreting of marketing, logistics, manufacturing, and system (SAP) data.
+ Represent finance on cross functional/regional projects and initiatives. Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements
+ Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and GAAP. Ensure adherence to SOX, corporate policies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
+ Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
**Education:** Bachelor's degree
**Field of Study Preferred** : Accountancy or Finance
**Required Work Experience:** 3-5 years of relevant experience
**Required Training/Certifications:** Bachelor’s Degree desired, MBA/CPA/CFA/CMA a plus
**Required Computer and Software Skills:** MS Office, Google suite, JDE, SAP, BPC
**Travel Requirements:** 20% which includes travel to Ada, OK 1 week per month
Additional Requirements:
+ Previous Financial Analysis experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Previous experience in Aggregates & Construction materials environment advantageous
+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
