Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Cordis is seeking a high-impact Lead Sales Trainer to build and deliver a transformative training program focused on
business acumen, sales leadership development and commercial execution. This role is critical to advancing our
investment in non-clinical sales education, developing both the capabilities of our frontline sales force and the
effectiveness of our sales leaders. The Lead Trainer will design a proprietary sales methodology, develop practical
training content and deliver learning programs that support team members throughout their careers—from
onboarding and product launches to sales leadership development and strategic territory planning. Success will be
measured by the adoption, application and business impact of training programs across the field.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement Cordis-specific sales methodology that reflects the realities of the cardiovascular
medical device market and supports value-based, consultative selling.
• Design and deliver practical training programs covering sales fundamentals, business acumen, territory
planning, and account strategy.
• Lead the non-clinical training curriculum across the sales career lifecycle—from onboarding to ongoing
development and product launches.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to align training content with strategic priorities, field needs, and evolving
market dynamics.
• Integrate sales methodology and business training into broader learning journeys in partnership with the
Professional Education team.
• Partner with Sales Enablement to align training with current strategies, activity expectations, and
performance metrics, and to support reps in effectively applying commercial tools (e.g., Salesforce, AcuityMD,
consignment dashboards) to territory planning and execution.
• Provide coaching tools and resources for sales managers to reinforce learning and support behavior change in
the field.
• Facilitate feedback loops with the field and leadership to evaluate the relevance and impact of training
content.
• Measure learning effectiveness through defined KPIs, performance data, and application in the field.
• Continuously refine training programs based on insights, business objectives, and changing market conditions.

Qualifications
Expected Areas of Competencies:
• Deep familiarity with one or more formal selling methodologies (e.g., Challenger, Strategic Selling,
Consultative Selling, SPIN), with direct experience training and coaching others in their application
• Proven ability to design and deliver custom sales methodologies and leadership development programs
• Expertise in commercial acumen, territory strategy and account-based selling
• Strong instructional design and facilitation skills for both in-person and virtual settings
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing at multiple levels, including sales leadership
• Entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset, capable of building impactful training from the ground up
• Experience in coaching and mentoring sales teams and managers, enhancing leadership skills, and fostering professional growth · Exceptional public speaking and interpersonal communication skills to engage and motivate diverse sales teams and stakeholders · Experience working in fast-paced environment · Strong organizational and time management skills to oversee complex training initiatives, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment · Self-starter mentality with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement.
Requirements, Qualifications & Skills Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in sales education, sales/sales leadership, learning & development or other related field with a bachelor’s degree in business marking, education, clinical, or related field. Combined education and experience will be considered. · Experience in commercial or sales enablement roles within Medical Device or Life Sciences roles preferred. · Ability to travel domestically and internationally, estimated 40% travel
