    SUMMARY

    This position is responsible for posting the open positions internally and externally, recruiting, screening resumes, interviewing, phone screening and updating the Affirmative action folders and logs. Provide leadership and direction to a team of HR Professionals in other regions to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs and coordinate on national-level initiatives.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    - Recruits in accordance with the hiring policy and procedures to meet AARs diversity initiatives.

    - Prepares and places job advertisements internally on the company website and intranet, and externally on online recruiting sites to identify the most qualified and diverse candidates.

    - Reviews applications after having knowledge of what the hiring manager is looking for in a candidate.

    - Phone screens the most qualified candidates, ensuring they meet the minimum qualifications defined on the job description.

    - Interview applicants that meet the minimum qualifications, and provide them with information about AAR and the desired position.

    - Builds effective working relationships with staffing agencies, colleges and universities for recruitment purposes.

    - Serves as Corporate gatekeeper of all recruiting and temporary agency contracts to ensure include compliance with pre-employment testing requirements.

    - Conduct required ITAR pre-employment screening and organizational audits to confirm compliance.

    - Sends out offer letters.

    - Prepares new hire paperwork, and conducts new hire orientation.

    - Travel may be required.

    - All other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor Degree from four-year college or university in human resources, business, or a related area. Or, eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. -3 to 5 years experience in a Human Resources or Recruiting position is required.
