HealthFitness is hiring part-time lifeguards! Are you a strong swimmer with a passion for ensuring the safety of others? We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a **Lifeguard** at our client site located in **Marysville, Ohio (OH)** . As a lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all aquatic facility members and guests. 5-29 hours/week. Flexible schedule within the following hours of operation: M-F 5am-6pm, Sat 10am-3pm.

Your Impact:

+ Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.

+ Enforce and explain rules as necessary.

+ Respond appropriately to any emergency.

+ Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.

+ Attend all required staff meetings and training.

+ Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.

+ Maintain a professional attitude.

+ Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 16 years old.

+ Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.

+ Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.

+ Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.

+ Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.

+ Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

All lifeguards are required to perform a basic lifeguard skill test consisting of:

+ 500 yard swim.

+ Active, Passive, Submerged rescues.

+ Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water.

+ Other various techniques that were learned during the Lifeguard Training Program.

Compensation: $14/hr - $16/hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
