    Description

    The Opportunity:

    As a Safety Assistant you make a difference by ensuring that our professional drivers maintain compliance with company policy as well as Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) rules and regulations. You create Driver Success by ensuring that our drivers’ credentials meet our requirements to operate our equipment. You are also responsible for ensuring our driver qualification files are kept up to date and in compliance with FMCSA regulations.

    The Experience:

    This position requires no prior transportation experience. We will provide the training necessary for you to be successful in your new career! We are looking for someone with:

     

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Exceptional analytical skills

    + Time management skills

    + Organizational skills

    + Great written and verbal communication skills

    + Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to work with dual-screen computer monitors

    + 1 year of experience in an office setting is a plus
