Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled CI/CD Linux Administrator to join their dynamic team. This role involves providing comprehensive support and operations management for a robust infrastructure of 2,500 on-premises servers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting developers, ensuring seamless operations and efficient troubleshooting. Responsibilities shown below:

- Expertly manage and maintain Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

- Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration, enhancing scalability and deployment efficiency.

- Apply DevOps principles to streamline processes, improve system integration, and foster continuous improvement.

- Set up, administer, and optimize platforms, ensuring they meet the needs of the development team.

- Administer and troubleshoot various tools, providing timely resolutions to any issues that arise.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, running books, and procedures.

Skills and Requirements

- 6+ years working in DevOps as a System Administrator

- Experience administering any DevOps platform, administration and management in large, distributed clustered environment

- Strong hands-on experience working on Linux, specifically navigating through system folders, finding out errors in the logs, knowing how to search for a file and how to reduce memory, etc.

- Extensive experience with Kubernetes

- Knowledge on GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins, SonarQube, Atlassian or any related tools

Strong production support background with ITIL knowledge - Experience on any one of the cloud infrastructures (GCP/Azure/AWS)

- Must have strong scripting skills - proficiency in Shell or Python

Experience in configuration management and automation tools - proficiency in Ansible null
