Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Systems-focused DevSecOps Engineer to join their collaborative team in the health IT sector. This remote position primarily supports one program but will operate cross-functionally providing expertise across multiple projects as needed. The role involves working alongside other system engineers to design, code, and maintain reliable and high-performance infrastructure and platforms. The ideal candidate should have expert-level experience in building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, supporting Kubernetes environments, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in AWS cloud environments, and managing various infrastructure components such as monitoring and log management. Proficiency in EKS setup and integration, as well as automating manual processes using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools, is essential for immediate contribution to the team.

$52hr to $72hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in System/DevSecOps Engineering field

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related major

• Hands-on experience in Linux Administration.

• Expertise working in AWS-based environments.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins etc.,

• Solid understanding and work experience in IAC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation

• Proficient in scripting languages like Python.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to learn and implement new technologies as the industry evolves.

• Experience working in a Kubernetes based environments. · Worked with a software development team in an Agile SAFe environment.

• Understanding and adherence to basic software practices such as coding standards and configuration management.

• Collaborating in a multiple contractor environment.

• Proficient in MS work, MS Excel, JIRA and Confluence. null
