Job Description

Insight Globals client is seeking a DevOps Engineer (PowerSystems IBMi) to join their team on a hybrid basis (Tues/Wed/Thurs onsite).

This high-impact role is focused on automating and optimizing infrastructure across AWS and on-prem environments, with a strong emphasis on IBM PowerSystems IBMi. The engineer will lead strategic DevOps initiatives using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

This role is able to pay from $35-44/hr

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of IBM PowerSystems IBMi (or AS/400) administration

2+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE/Cloud/IT Operations/System Admin roles

1+ year supporting cloud services (AWS preferred)

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)

CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins)

Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) AWS/Azure/GCP certifications

Experience in banking or financial services

Containerization knowledge (Docker/Kubernetes)

Monitoring and observability tool experience null
