Our client, a leader in the aerospace and defense industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Department supporting the Quality Engineer. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Manufacturing Quality Technician

**Location:** Cerritos, CA

**Pay Range:** $22-23/hr

**Shift:** 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

+ Conduct various inspections and tests on materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. .

+ Maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality-related activities is a key responsibility.

+ Participate in the investigation of customer and internal corrective action requests.

+ Create Quality Notifications for nonconforming material in SAP.

+ Conduct periodic quality and process audits.

What's Needed?

+ Associate's Degree in Metallurgical, Electrical, Quality, or Mechanical fields or equivalent experience.

+ Minimum 1-year experience in Quality, Inspection, or related manufacturing environment.

+ Good knowledge of blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

+ Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
