We are seeking a highly skilled **Azure Cloud Engineer** to lead and support our transition from on-premises and hosted infrastructure to a fully cloud-native environment on Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in cloud operations, infrastructure automation, and large-scale migration projects.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ **Lead and execute migration projects** from on-premises or hosted environments to Azure cloud infrastructure.

+ Administer and optimize Azure services, including **Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Monitor** .

+ Design and implement **secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures** aligned with business needs.

+ Configure and manage **hybrid connectivity** (VPN, ExpressRoute) during transitional phases.

+ Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of cloud services.

+ Implement and enforce **cloud governance, security policies, and compliance standards** .

+ Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to ensure seamless cloud adoption and integration.

+ Maintain documentation of cloud configurations, migration plans, and operational procedures.

Minimum requirements:

+ 3+ years of experience in **Azure cloud administration and engineering** .

+ Proven track record of **migrating enterprise workloads** from on-premises or hosted environments to Azure.

+ Strong understanding of **Azure IaaS and PaaS services** , networking, and identity management.

+ Proficiency in scripting and automation using **PowerShell** , **Azure CLI** , or **Python** .

+ Familiarity with **cloud security best practices** and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).

+ Azure certifications such as **AZ-104 (Azure Administrator)** or **AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect)** are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with **legacy system modernization** and hybrid cloud environments.

+ Exposure to Agile or ITIL methodologies.

Other miscellaneous qualities:

+ 25% travel across service area (US)

+ Provide technical and procedural leadership for projects
