    Job Description

    Arnot Health is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our Patient Access team. This role is critical to ensuring excellent patient experiences through efficient registration, insurance verification, and point-of-service collections. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and team builder with healthcare finance or billing experience and a passion for service excellence.

     

    Schedule: Full-Time, Salaried

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Supervise daily operations of the Patient Access team to meet pre-registration and service goals.

    + Oversee scheduling, attendance, and assignment of duties for team members.

    + Conduct regular quality audits and provide feedback for process improvement.

    + Support team in achieving financial collection goals and ensure proper documentation of patient financial obligations.

    + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payor requirements and create reference tools and training materials.

    + Collaborate with the Director on performance evaluations, hiring, compliance, and budget goals.

    + Ensure accurate registration, consent forms, and charge entry across multiple departments.

    + Monitor precertification requirements and coordinate with clinical and scheduling teams.

    + Assist with centralized scheduling and capacity optimization across the system.

    + Support and lead ongoing staff training, development, and compliance efforts.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + Minimum 3 years of healthcare, finance, billing, or collections experience required.

    + Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding is a plus.

    + Proficient with computer applications and data systems.

    + Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

    + Ability to maintain confidentiality and a patient-centered approach.

    Physical Demands:

    + Light physical activity in a hospital environment.

    + Includes sitting, walking, computer use, and patient interaction.
