    Salary Range: $45 - $50 per hour, depending on experience

     

    Our client is seeking a seasoned paralegal with 10+ years of experience in complex litigation to join their team. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in Santa Rosa, California, supporting a fast-paced litigation practice. Please note: this position is onsite and requires billable hours of 1450 annually.

    Key Responsibilities

    The paralegal will actively support attorneys in managing all aspects of complex litigation cases, including but not limited to:

    + Conducting legal research and preparing memorandums using Lexis, Westlaw, PACER, and CM/ECF.

    + Managing the collection, organization, and production of evidence and legal documents for pre-litigation, discovery, depositions, expert reports, trial preparation, and appeals.

    + Drafting and responding to discovery requests, preparing deposition exhibits/outlines, and summarizing deposition transcripts.

    + Preparing pleadings, motions, declarations, and supporting evidence with proper citations.

    + Assisting with jury selection, motions in limine, witness interviews/coordination, and trial attendance as needed.

    + Managing calendars for multiple attorneys using Compulaw and staying updated on timelines across jurisdictions (state courts, federal courts, TTAB, DFEH, DIR, etc.).

    + Supporting litigation team workflows and maintaining relationships with research platforms like Westlaw and Lexis.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate possesses:

    + 10+ years of experience in complex litigation.

    + A BA/BS degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.

    + Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF. (Experience with TABS is a plus.)

    + Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.

    + Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and adapt to attorneys' diverse styles/personalities.

    + Attention to detail and the ability to cite-check legal documents, prepare chronologies, and organize evidence flawlessly.
