Jennifer Fukumae at Robert Half is teaming up with a well-established wealth management and investment firm that brings together deep expertise, national scale, and the personalized service of a boutique advisor. They work with individuals, families, and institutions—offering a full suite of financial solutions tailored to each client’s goals. They are looking for a Venture Services Associate - Trades to support a high-performing Private Wealth team—one that works hand-in-hand with venture capital firms and institutional partners like Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. It’s a dynamic seat at the table where finance, precision, and client service collide.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be the go-to for all things stock distributions, trading, and behind-the-scenes operations. From processing venture fund stock distributions to coordinating with legal counsel and providing white-glove service to top clients—your work keeps the engine running smoothly.

+ Handle stock distributions from venture funds and support restricted stock settlements from start to finish

+ Notify clients and stakeholders of distribution details and keep them in the loop with polished communication

+ Generate reports and track distribution outcomes for VC-backed companies

+ Process stock sale orders from LPs and coordinate fund transfers, check requests, and address updates

+ Liaise directly with institutional partners (think Goldman Sachs, Merrill) and occasionally legal counsel for required opinions

+ Identify, flag, and escalate any operational issues before they become fires

+ Deliver daily reporting updates and execute money movement transactions with precision

+ Be the internal operations MVP for a high-touch client experience

Requirements

What You Bring:

+ Active Series 7/63 or Series 66 license – a must!

+ 1+ year of trade operations experience, with comfort handling stock settlements and high-volume transactions

+ 2+ years in a Wealth Management or RIA setting—private wealth experience is a plus

+ Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

+ Strong communicator who’s confident engaging with C-level executives and institutional partners

+ A calm operator who thrives on early starts—this role follows market hours (6:30am–3:00pm)
