Finance Associate – Early Stage Venture Capital (Crypto Focused)

• San Francisco | Hybrid (2 days/week onsite)

• $100K–$130K DOE

Looking to transition out of public accounting into something more hands-on and forward-looking? A rapidly growing early-stage venture firm with over $2B in AUM is hiring a Finance Associate to support fund operations and reporting. Focused on crypto, blockchain, and fintech investments, the firm offers a front-row seat to the future of digital finance.

This is a great opportunity for someone with an audit, tax, or accounting background who’s ready to pivot into the venture capital world—and gain exposure to a fast-evolving asset class.

What You’ll Do

+ Review and analyze quarterly reports prepared by the fund administrator

+ Oversee investor reporting and capital statement distribution

+ Manage key relationships with the fund administrator and service providers

+ Assist with fund operations, including capital calls, investment funding, and related processes

+ Review financial statements and support financial oversight across funds

Requirements

What You Bring

+ 3+ years of experience in financial services accounting (audit, tax, GL)

+ CPA required

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

+ Interest in crypto, blockchain, or fintech

+ Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
