An established and rapidly growing investment firm is seeking a Senior Fund Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller to join its finance team. The firm manages multi-billion-dollar assets across a diverse portfolio of private investments and is in the process of raising its next major fund. Key Responsibilities

+ Maintain fund and general partner ledgers, including investment activity, accruals, and intercompany transactions

+ Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for multiple funds

+ Oversee cash positions and manage capital calls and distributions

+ Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure timely, accurate reporting

+ Review financial reports, capital account statements, and other fund documentation

+ Support investor communications by responding to limited partner inquiries in collaboration with Investor Relations

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 9+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a foundation in public accounting and 4–6+ years in venture capital, private equity, or related investment firms

+ Strong knowledge of investment partnership accounting

+ Advanced Excel skills; experience with AltaReturn/Allvue or Microsoft NAV is a plus

+ Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
