    Robert Half has partnered with an organization in central CT in their search of their first dedicated HR professional to handle everything HR related for their business. You have an opportunity to make an immediate impact and be fully hands-on with developing and implementing various systems.

    Company Overview:

    This company has experienced tremendous growth, more than doubling in size over the past few years! As a result, they are creating an exciting new opportunity for a dedicated and hands-on HR professional to help support our expanding team of 55 employees across two dynamic divisions.

    What You’ll Be Doing:

    •️ HR Compliance: Ensure compliance across 12 states (primarily CT/NY, with a few others).

    •️ Full Lifecycle HR: Lead the charge on recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes to support our growing workforce.

    •️ Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll through ADP for a mixed schedule of weekly (hourly) and semi-monthly (salaried). Is ADP the best fit? We'll look to your expertise to ensure efficiency.

    •️ Benefits Management: Partner with our broker to enhance employee benefits while exploring cost-saving opportunities.

    •️ Learning Management Systems: Implement and train managers on how to better train and develop their staff

    What We’re Looking For:

    • A proven HR background, previously being the sole person in HR for a small/medium sized business

    • Hands-on experience with all core HR duties including payroll, benefits, employee relations, training and development, and compliance.

    • Excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with employees.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as an HR Generalist, with expertise in payroll, benefits administration, and compliance.

    • Proficiency in using payroll software for payroll functions.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels

    • Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment and onboarding processes efficiently.

    • Strategic thinking capabilities with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

    • Bachelors Degree in related field. HR Certifications would be a plus!
