Job Description
CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks a Data Scientist to analyze and interpret statistical data applied towards the evaluation and improvement of Commercial Real Estate modeling through quantitative research. Provide quantitative analysis and econometric forecasting. Document commercial real estate models, analytic products, and tolls for external and internal clients. Apply statistical theory in identifying required changes to existing models and strategies. Perform quality assurance functions and error correction through models, data series, and implementations. Implement data mining techniques to leverage databases. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and 6 months of experience with design and programming for predictive modeling. Experience must include a minimum of: 6 months of experience with SQL; 6 months of experience with Python, R, and STATA; 6 months of experience with statistical methods; 4 months of experience with end-to-end development of predictive modeling; and 2 months of experience with ML classification and regression techniques. Domestic travel is required 10% of the time.
