    The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Supply Assistant to provide research support administration services for our government customer in San Antonio, TX.

    DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Perform administrative duties related to research equipment records and preventative maintenance actions.

    + Review all new equipment purchases to ensure compatibility with facility standards.

    + Order and maintain inventory of supplies related to research.

    + Manage the receipt and delivery of items necessary for projects, and move machinery and instruments to fit end-user needs.

    + Receive all incoming equipment, consumables, and other items necessary for research ordered for customer.

    + Maintain purchase order paperwork provided by purchase card holders and match listed items against incoming shipments for accuracy, informing the purchase card holders of any discrepancies.

    + Inventory and track equipment items in the D.M.L.S.S. system.

    + Work with the Equipment Manager to track inventories, ensure item locations are updated in D.M.L.S.S. and conduct annual, command-directed, and triennial inventories of property.

    + Monitor supplies and inform the Equipment Manager of reduced stock levels for restocking.

    + Acquire and assist with the transportation, loading/unloading of items, and turn-in of unserviceable/excess items to D.R.M.O.

    + Ensure receiving processes are aligned by collaborating with the Administrative Assistant and other agency personnel.

    + Ensure purchase orders made via Government Purchase Cards are received and notify the Purchase Card Holder of any issues that may arise.

    + Collaborate with the Equipment Manager and BMET on equipment entered into D.M.L.S.S.

    + Assist in preparing for command functions, including set-up, transport, and clean-up.

    REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

    Minimum of high school diploma and at least one (1) year experience in the ordering, receipt, and management of equipment and supplies, preferably within the DoD.

    REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

    + Must be a U.S. Citizen

    + Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
