Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Fullstack and IBM Optim Developer who will be catering to North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Java Fullstack and IBM Optim Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience in Core Java, Java Fullstack and IBM Optim to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a keen interest in Asset & Wealth Management. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects during day shifts without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of high-quality software solutions using Core Java and Java Fullstack technologies.

• Oversee the implementation of IBM Optim to ensure data management efficiency and security.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for Asset & Wealth Management projects.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

• Ensure code quality and maintainability through rigorous testing and code reviews.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all software development processes.

• Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.

• Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development practices.

• Contribute to the companys mission by developing solutions that enhance customer experience and drive business growth.

• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and address any challenges.

• Support the deployment and integration of software applications in a hybrid work model.

• Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical team members to ensure project alignment.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in Core Java and Java Fullstack development.

• Demonstrate proficiency in using IBM Optim for data management.

• Have a strong understanding of Asset & Wealth Management domain is a plus.

• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

• Display strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Certifications Required

Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 07/10/2025

The annual salary for this position is between $102,000 - $116,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
