Description
The Software Testing Engineer will work with the Imaging Systems team to successfully deliver high
quality products.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
• Learning the architecture and interactions of all back-end components.
• Devising new methods of testing, validating the software system effectively.
• Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements.
• Prove for scalability and performance of a software.
• Supporting test automation where appropriate.
• Supporting and actively working towards test driven development.
• Contribute to discussion on test process and procedural improvements.
• Writing descriptive, organized Verification Validation (VV) Test Plans.
• Executing effective functional test, carrying out exploratory testing where appropriate.
• Producing clear and concise VV Test Reports, Instructions, and Release Notes.
• Working collaboratively with other test engineers and development team.
• Establish quality standards, design testing methodologies and often determine when a program is ready for
release.
• Assisting with the setting up and configuration of software test environments.
• Assisting customers, application personnel, field engineers, help monitoring luminary sites and other clinical sites
where significant studies and activities held.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• BS or higher degrees in Computer Science or equivalent science/engineering fields with software development
experience.
• Experience with the full development life cycle of desktop applications from requirements to launch and hands-on
expertise and strong command of core front-end technologies: Win32, .NET, Sockets, OGL/DX, are helpful.
• Experience in coding with C/C++/ C# languages.
• Understands and uses Object Oriented Design/Programming (OOD/OOP) concepts and design patterns.
• Experience in performance tuning, improvement, and debugging. Familiarity with debugging tools.
• Experience and/or knowledge of DICOM, PACS, RIS, HL7 and Medical IT.
• Experience in Medical Imaging software design and development.
• Experience and/or knowledge of Digital X-ray Imaging technology and its applications.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $70.00/hr.
