    Job Title: Automation and Electronics Technician

    Job Description

    This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician to provide advanced technical support in the installation, troubleshooting, and improvement of automated and electronic equipment.

     

    You will work independently on complex projects involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and PLC systems, and contribute to continuous improvement and preventive maintenance efforts.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems.

    + Modify and create PLC and HMI programs; adjust robot paths and vision systems.

    + Support new equipment launches and retrofits.

    + Perform and improve preventive maintenance using CMMS software.

    + Respond quickly to production issues and minimize downtime.

    Essential Skills

    + Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

    + Experience troubleshooting PLCs, HMI, and industrial robotics (ABB preferred)

    + Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills - hydraulics, pneumatics

    + Effective communication and leadership abilities.

     

    Work Environment

     

    Fast-paced automotive manufacturing setting, working 45-55 hours per week and some weekends as needed.

     

    This environment offers an excellent opportunity to enhance skills in PLC and robotic troubleshooting, providing a perfect platform for a maintenance technician to grow in automation and controls.

     

    The dress code is industrial casual, suitable for hands-on technical work.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
