**VCA All About Pets Animal Hospital** in is seeking a **Certified Veterinary Technician** to join our leadership team as the **Veterinary Technician Supervisor** !

**Schedule:**    Full-time opportunity with flexible scheduling. We utilize a 4 x10 schedule with rotating Saturdays.

**Compensation:** Pay range is $27 - 33/ hr and is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.

As a Technician Supervisor, you will play a vital role in advancing high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care. You’ll lead by example, mentoring and supporting a talented team of Technicians and Assistants while fostering a collaborative, empowering work environment. Partnering with our Medical Director and Hospital Manager, you’ll help ensure the hospital operates efficiently, with a focus on excellence in both patient and client care.

This is a **working supervisory position** where you’ll combine leadership duties with hands-on technical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

In addition to performing all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, your duties will include:

+ Mentor and support Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) and Veterinary Assistants (VAs).

+ Assist in onboarding, training, and continuing education.

+ Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture focused on teamwork and growth.

+ Create and manage staff schedules.

+ Participate in hiring and interviewing processes.

+ Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and address staff concerns.

+ Monitor adherence to hospital policies and provide performance feedback, including disciplinary actions in collaboration with the Hospital Manager and HR.

+ Assist with training initiatives and support staff meetings.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated leader who is committed to creating a thriving work environment where employees feel valued and empowered.

Qualifications:

+ Certified Veterinary Technician(CVT, LVT, or RVT).

+ 5+ years of clinical experience inveterinary medicine

+ Proven team leadership experience.

+ Strongcommunicationand interpersonal skills.
