The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an enthusiastic event worker to our team in Owensboro, KY. As an event worker, you will have the opportunity to provide incredible food service to a diverse clientele across a variety of banquets and catered events. This will be an on-call position and hours may vary depending on scheduled events.

What you'll be doing:

+ Preparing the banquet room or area for the event, serving customers, and cleaning up after the event.

+ Delivering and/or serving food and beverages to customers.

+ Greeting customers promptly and in a friendly manner, explaining menu items, taking orders, and offering follow-up items to improve the event.

+ Ensuring courteous, prompt service for all event functions according to established guidelines.

+ Greeting customers, explaining menu items, taking and delivering orders, and continuing with follow-up items.

+ Ensuring that service follows health code regulations.

+ Basic customer service interactions.

+ Any other tasks as necessary.

What we're looking for:

_Must-haves:_

+ The ability to work as part of a team devoted to providing outstanding customer service.

+ Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.

+ Excellent communication and organization skills.

+ Prior food service experience in a catering or restaurant setting.

_Nice-to-haves:_

+ Food Handler’s certification.

+ At least one year of food service experience in a catering or restaurant setting.

Compensation Range

$12-16 an hour
