Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
As an Administrative Coordinator, you'll help create a positive, constructive environment. In this role, you will:
+ Key direct on-line entry for approximately 150 employees on various shifts in a 24-hour facility independently in accordance with Civil Service, Fair Labor Standards Act, Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities, LaGov Human Capital Management (HCM), and PSSC policies and procedures. Receive original timesheets and review for errors or missing documentation, determine regular and overtime pay and compensatory time, earned absence, and attendance codes.
+ Verify and acquire approval for use of annual, sick, and compensatory time, leave without pay, and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) before entry. Administer leave hours using absence codes to maintain daily absence quotas in HCM. Key various attendance type codes to account for attendance and shift differential. Issue the FMLA packet to the employee. Complete Verification of FMLA Entitlement (HR26) and submit to the Human Resources (HR) Analyst to determine employees' eligibility.
+ Verify time keyed by accessing and reviewing various HCM reports (ZP97, ZT20, ZT02, etc.) to ensure accuracy of pay and leave.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probation, Promotion, Demotion, Lateral Transfer, or Detail to Special Duty. Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.

Work Schedule: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Pass Days: Saturday & Sunday
