    Description

    If you are looking for an exciting career opportunity in the IT, engineering, software development, logistics, and project management fields, Linchpin Solutions is the place to be! We are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced Facilities Support Coordinator.

     

    Clearance:Active DoD Secret Clearance or poses ability to obtain one.

     

    Work Schedule:Onsite, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. Occasional travel may be required

    Role Overview:

    The Facilities Support Services Coordinator serves as the central point of contact for all Facilities Support Services at Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC). This position involves managing building maintenance operations, coordinating with Navy commands, monitoring facility requests, and supporting property accountability tasks. The coordinator will provide input during facility inspections, track deficiencies, and assist in developing scopes of work and cost estimates for repair projects.

    Duties

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for SERMC Facilities Support Services

    + Act as the building maintenance manager, assessing task complexity and coordinating solutions

    + Perform or coordinate tasks including painting, sheetrock repairs, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, masonry, door/lock adjustments, TV installations, and HVAC maintenance

    + Communicate with Navy Facilities Command (NAVFAC) and Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) regarding facility status and concerns

    + Prepare and maintain transportation reports and vehicle maintenance records

    + Participate in periodic zone inspections and update the SERMC SharePoint Facilities site with findings and status

    + Attend and contribute to meetings, forums, and teleconferences with other commands

    + Provide both physical and electronic documentation to the Code 1100 Services Division Manager

    + Monitor the SERMC SharePoint Facilities Services request page and submit service calls to the regional call center

    + Support the Accountable Property Officer with inventory management, record upkeep, survey processing, and DRMO turn-ins

    + Draft scopes of work and cost estimates for facility projects and forward to NAVFAC for further action

     

    General Skillset

     

    + Experience with Microsoft Office

    + Verbal and written communication skills

    + Ability to work both collaboratively and individually

    + Critical Thinking Skills

    + Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed

     

    Specific Skillset

     

    + General knowledge across Electrical, Civil, and Mechanical maintenance

    + Familiarity with building systems and basic construction practices

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    + Experience with SharePoint and facility management tracking tools

    + Ability to develop scopes of work and cost estimates using commercial cost-estimating tools

    Requirements

    Education & Certifications

     

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required

    + Trade certifications or formal training in building systems (preferred but not required)

    Experience Requirements

    + Minimum 5 years of facilities-related experience in construction or building maintenance

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in all phases of facilities maintenance across core trades
