Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description

The Quality Assurance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring product quality and compliance with company and regulatory standards. The technician will focus on in-process and finished product inspections, verifying product specifications, and ensuring all procedures adhere to guidelines. Key responsibilities include verifying allergen and sanitation control measures, monitoring critical control points, and documenting findings accurately.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct routine quality checks and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

+ Assist with non-conformance investigations and support compliance with the Safe Quality Food (SGF) program.

+ Collect samples for lab analysis and assist with internal or third-party audits.

+ Calibrate testing equipment and ensure accurate documentation of findings.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 1 year of experience in a QA/QC role within food or beverage manufacturing or distribution.

+ Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

+ Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and QA paperwork.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English; Spanish language skills are a bonus.

Work Environment

The work environment is temperature-controlled and meticulously clean, as it is a food production facility. Employees are required to wear appropriate attire including lab coats, hairnets, beard nets, gloves, and shoe covers. The role operates on a Monday-Thursday shift from 2 PM to 12:30 AM, with flexibility for additional hours as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48880.00 - $53040.00/yr.
