    Job Description

    As an Asbestos Worker, you will be responsible for removing hazardous building materials from residential and commercial structures. This includes demolition, asbestos removal, lead paint, and mold remediation.

    Responsibilities

    + Remove hazardous building materials from residential and commercial structures.

    + Perform demolition and asbestos abatement tasks.

    + Engage in lead paint and mold remediation activities.

    + Follow environmental management and regulations.

    + Conduct asbestos inspections and supervise asbestos removal processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Construction experience.

    + Knowledge of asbestos supervision and removal.

    + Understanding of environmental regulations and management.

    + Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including suits and respirators.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in building trades, demolition, HVAC, water mitigation, construction, asbestos, lead or mold remediation is preferred.

    + Asbestos certification is a plus.

    + Ability to work in confined areas and high temperatures.

    + Capability to perform heavy physical work over prolonged periods.

    + Reliable transportation required.

    + Completion of a background check and drug test.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment involves construction and environmental field work. You will be required to wear protective gear and respirators. The role may involve working in confined spaces and high temperatures, with physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs, maximum standing, and crawling. The position requires local travel within the assigned region.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $45760.00/yr.
