RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Design and develop complex requirements to accomplish business goals.

+ Develop deployment automation for various Message-Oriented Middleware (MoM) software in Bank of America's internal cloud platform.

+ Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements.

+ Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration that testing is built in from the outset.

+ Possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns.

+ Design, automate, and maintain large scale, enterprise-wide Message-Oriented Middleware (MoM) systems to perform asynchronous message exchange between applications.

+ Certify, test, and package new patches and release for operational usage and large-scale deployments through Ansible, Terraform, and similar automation playbooks.

+ Create architecture and design patterns for applications to use Message-Oriented middleware (MoM) systems to achieve highly available and resilient deployments in multiple regions and data centers to address business requirements to meet recovery time and state.

+ Ensure that Message-Oriented Middleware (MoM) systems are developed to meet security baseline and compliance requirements using Java, Python, Ansible, JSON, and Splunk.

+ Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:

+ Master's degree or equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related: and

+ 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

+ Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:

+ Designing, automating, and maintaining large scale, enterprise-wide Message-Oriented Middleware (MoM) systems to perform asynchronous message exchange between applications;

+ Certifying, testing and packaging new patches and releases for operational usage and large-scale deployments through Ansible, Terraform, and similar automation playbooks;

+ Creating architecture and designing patterns for applications to use Message-Oriented middleware (MoM) systems to achieve highly available and resilient deployments in multiple regions and data centers to address business requirements to meet recovery time and state; and,

+ Ensuring that Message-Oriented Middleware (MoM) systems are developed to meet security baseline and compliance requirements using Java, Python, Ansible, JSON, and Splunk.
