What we’re looking for:
The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategy and execution in the retail channel. Using your marketing skills, business acumen and creativity, you will collaborate with the retail business unit to create assets that support marketing activities that will drive traffic to our partner customer base.
Requirements
What your future looks like:
+ Lead consumer channel marketing efforts by developing, driving and implementing online and instore marketing activities at select regional and national retailers
+ Works with cross functional teams to ensure launch deliverables such as assets for product detail pages, syndicated content and in-store displays meet critical deadlines.
+ Delivery of TP-Link retail marketing plans aligned with new product launches, overall business strategy and objectives
+ Visit and engage Work with sales and with retail partners on a regular basis to identify marketing platforms and promotional opportunities – approximately 30% travel per quarter
+ Implement campaigns in order to expand market share and achieve growth targets
+ Work closely with internal the marketing organization to create product and brand assets for product launches, events, merchandising, POP, training materials and other marketing activities marketing plans
+ Timely delivery of in-store and online campaigns through application of best practice merchandising principles
+ Regular reporting of results and activities to internal stakeholders
+ Manage marketing development funds and outside agency contracts and negotiations.
+ Lead field marketing programs with the support of the channel marketing specialist programs (i.e. interfacing with internal or third-party labor to define program, execution dates, gather required assets, monitoring, reporting, etc.)
What you’ll bring to the table:
+ Minimum 5+ years of channel marketing or similar business function experience. Bachelor’s degree required.
+ Highly desire experience with at least one retailer; Best Buy, Walmart and/or Target
+ Proven expertise in executing and administering marketing programs
+ Budget management
+ Creating, executing and managing in-store displays
+ Analyzing and managing data to create meaningful marketing activities to drive business decisions
+ Partnering with outside vendors and agencies to execute marketing plans
+ Strong work ethic
+ Understanding of fundamental marketing concepts
+ Sound judgment in analyzing problems, with the ability to distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information
+ Work collaboratively as a member of high-performing team with multiple teams.
+ Proven track record of completing assignments on time, in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
+ Ability to write creative briefs
+ Working basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
+ Willing to travel
