Ferguson is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a **Senior Fabrication Manager** in our Fulton, MS location.
The Senior Fabrication Manager is responsible for operational oversight for our fabrication facility within our pipe yard. Responsible for coordinating with fabricators on projects, supervising the progress of the fabrication operations, and ensuring the safety of all workers.
Responsibilities:
+ Operational oversight for our Mechanical Fabrications shop within our Fulton pipe yard.
+ Leading all weld procedures and certifications for manual and semi-automatic SAW, GMAW, SMAW, & GTAW welding procedures.
+ Collaborate with Business Groups to implement strategy and grow sales in the defined area, including house accounts.
+ Implementation and ongoing management of STRATUS workflow software
+ Complete integration of Ferguson VDC department and Fabrication shop
+ Instituted LEAN and Six Sigma project management operational procedures.
+ Project Scheduling for all projects, including LEAN Pull Plan Scheduling
+ Ensure that all associates follow corporate safety programs and that associates safety training is complete and up to date. Completes all workplace accident investigations as required by the company's EH&S policy. Identify safety issues and hazards and notify the corporate safety officer of conditions that require corrective action.
+ Responsible for establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with suppliers and vendors.
+ Responsible for associate mentoring, career development, morale and promoting Ferguson's unique culture.
+ Responsible for balancing performance standards and the cultural intangibles that make our company great.
+ Ensure the locations in their designated area deliver world-class customer service with every transaction.
Qualifications:
+ 10+ years of proven experience is preferred to perform at expectations
+ Must be able to demonstrate ability to perform multi-pass, all position fillet and butt welds using SWAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), and FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding)
+ Must have working knowledge of welding codes: AWS, ASME, MIL-STD, AISC, & ABS
+ Expertise in welding power sources, wire feeders, welding consumables
+ Knowledge of welding techniques, (oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, and TIG), tools and equipment
+ Hands on experiences and proven training on pre and post heating, Surface hardening, and Weld Inspections
+ Thorough knowledge of welding processes
+ Ability to lead and motivate individuals and teams.
+ Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices.
+ communication skills; develop and articulate (written and verbal) data/process analysis, and alternative solutions.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).

Pay Range:

$4,657.50 - $10,147.50
