Job Summary
Under minimal supervision perform activities related to processing non-electric service account PeopleSoft billings; direct work activities related to maintaining joint-use company records with direct communication with joint-use companies; maintaining SOX control activities; creating and processing contractor invoices; reconciling work orders based on accounting policy and procedures; creating performance indicator reports communicating with internal customers on results; performing basic and routine administrative duties following well defined standard procedures; assisting with document processing; assisting in filing and retrieval of information in both hard copy and electronic formats; review performance indicator reports making recommendations on opportunities for improvements; recommend process improvement opportunities to benefit the team.

What You'll Do:
+ Recommend operation improvements taking the lead on the research and coordination of potential implementation of such improvements.
+ Contribute to team decision making and consensus building for all aspects of the Information Section.
+ Guide others in the reporting and completion of all SOX compliance activities assuring they are completed timely and properly retained.
+ Maintain a clear understanding of accounting policies and procedures, and the proper use of Capital/Removal versus O&M accounts to provide education and guidance to lower-level employees in assuring accurate reconciliation of distribution line work orders utilizing and acquiring detailed knowledge and understanding of the most current software systems - STORMS and PowerPlant.
+ Collaborate with team members to maintain a high degree of accuracy when creating contractor invoices in our internal contractor invoicing software system working closely with contractor representatives and internal contract coordination employees to assure timely invoicing.
+ Coordinate the gathering of information from various sources to effectively create performance reports to communicate with internal customers on the status of varying metrics analyzing such reports for data disparities.
+ Direct the process of maintaining accurate records in various software systems to establish a means for successful retrieval.
+ Develop an understanding of the corporate budgeting process and assist with the input of budget data as needed into the budgeting tool - UIPlanner - during the yearly budgeting process working closely with the Business Operations Support Manager assisting where needed.
+ May be required to perform similar or less skilled work when assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Associate's degree in business management, accounting, finance, or related field with four (4) years' of experience working in an office setting using administrative office procedures, practices and equipment OR a high school diploma with six (6) years' related work experience as listed under principal accountabilities.

+ Direct the workflow of the team assisting where needed.
+ Experience in Microsoft Office, Corporate Accounting/Budgeting systems, and 10-key calculator desired.
+ Must be able to see information on computer screen and use computer keyboard.
+ Must be able to hear spoken words via telephone, cell phone, or during individual or group meetings.
