    Job Description:

    Under the direction of a registered pharmacist and/or the pharmacy management team, the Anesthesia Pharmacy Technician Specialist independently performs a variety of technical and clerical duties in the inpatient pharmacy and operating room area, while serving as a liaison between the two areas. The major responsibilities of this position are: drug distribution including controlled substances, quality improvement, quality assurance, monitoring for diversion, customer service and drug control.

    Salary Range:

    $22.45- $28.34an hour

    Job Requirements:

    Education: High School Graduate or GED required

     

    Experience: At least three years of hospital pharmacy experience or supervisory experience as a pharmacy technician, 3-5 years preferred;

     

    License/Certification Required: Must be board certified by PTCB upon hire or transfer into the Tech IV role

     

    Skills: Supervisory skills, some computer use/comfort level is preferred; basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
