    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a full time Pulmonary Medicine Physician board-certified or board-eligible in critical care to join a busy, hospital-based practice in Salem, Virginia.

    Qualified candidates:

    + Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US

    + Must be board certified / board eligible in pulmonary disease

    + Must be board certified / board eligible in critical care

    + Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license

    + Primarily outpatient position with some inpatient consults

    + Utilize dedicated intensivists for ICU coverage

    + Interest/training in navigational bronchoscopy and EBUS

    + Critical care shifts available if desired

    + Teaching available for internal medicine residents if desired

    + Every 3rd night call every 3rd weekend call for pulmonary only
