    We, at Leggett & Platt Flooring Products, are searching for a Production Supervisor to support the production operation responsibilities at our Villa Rica, GA branch. Did you know Leggett & Platt Inc. is the largest manufacturer of carpet cushion and hard surface underlayment in the United States? Our Flooring businesses manufacture and distribute foam, rubber, and fiber-based flooring underlayment for residential and commercial use. Our flooring underlayment products provide support, cushioning, and noise reduction under virtually any finished flooring material in your home or business.     So, what will you be doing as Production Supervisor?

     

    + Monitor processes to verify conformance to specifications and direct adjustments needed to avoid or correct issues

    + Visually inspect product and quality checks for non-conforming issues or defects

    + Direct personnel to make the proper process adjustments to maintain product quality standards

    + Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product

    + Inform maintenance personnel of production line break downs and repair needs.

    + Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems

    + Initiate and/or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals

    + Ensure all employees are adequately trained to perform tasks safely

    + Responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

    + Collaborate with supervisors and managers to maintain ongoing safe, environmentally sound operation of the production process

    + Plan and schedule employees for required production line housekeeping tasks

    + Monitor production records for accuracy, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.

    + Fully supports and participates in all Safety, Environmental, Continuous Improvement Process and the Quality Management System.

    To be successful in this role, you'll need:

    + Bilingual English and Spanish

    + 3-5 years industrial experience

    + 1-2 years of supervisory experience

    + Must be able to work a flexible schedule with overtime

    + Excellent interpersonal & Communication skills

    + Strong analytical problem-solving skills

    + Basic computer skills and writing skills
