Quality Manager

Dixon Bayco is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager with a strong background in metrology, dimensional inspection, and electro-mechanical manufacturing. This is a hands on manager role where you'll lead by example. You will oversee day-to-day quality operations, manage inspections, support audits, and lead continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage quality department and establish, monitor and maintain quality control system
+ Assure compliance to quality standards
+ Develop inspection and control plans for manufactured products
+ Perform inspections and testing on manufactured products
+ Complete inspection reports
+ Manage supplier quality and receiving functions
+ Work with engineering to develop quality and test standards for manufactured products
+ Oversee calibration program
+ Conduct internal process audits
+ Coordinate annual QAN audit
+ Lead internal continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:
+ Minimum 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Strong knowledge of metrology and dimensional inspection techniques
+ Working knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent)
+ Skilled in the use of precision measurement tools (height gauges, micrometers, surface plate layout, optical comparator, oscilloscope and multimeter)
+ Understanding of GD&T
+ Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, electrical drawings and schematics
+ Ability to develop, implement and audit quality control plans
+ Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
+ Strong math skills
+ Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
+ Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
+ Familiarity with CMM's & Romer-type measuring arms
+ Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
