Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Per Diem Physical Therapy Aide in Hillsborough, NJ. Great opportunity for those looking to pursue a future career in physical therapy!

Qualifications:

Required:

HS diploma or GED

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

+ Basic knowledge of anatomy and muscle movement terminology

Certifications and Licenses Required:

+ BLS Certification from AHA

Scheduling Requirements:

+ Day Shift

+ Per Diem Schedule (Opportunities for picking up extra hours as available at any RWJ Somerset Sports Physical Therapy clinic locations -Flemington, Bridgewater, Princeton)

Essential Functions:

+ General housekeeping and infection prevention

+ Maintaining treatment area and setting up equipment

+ Retrieving equipment such as hot packs, cold packs, electrical equipment

+ Assist in clerical needs of department such as answering phones and taking messages

+ Assisting physical therapists with patient care such as assisting with patient transfers onto and off of treatment tables and equipment
